Winter is coming! You know what that means- HELLO SNUGGLE WEATHER 😊! I admit, it usually means my obsession with cozy blankets, bingeworthy shows, and scented candles gets a little out of control. Lucky for me, La Pixie Wellness came to the rescue with some aromatherapy. They recently sent me some goodies to try and I wanted to share their story with you! 😊

The Goods

Thank you to La Pixie Wellness for sending me this cute set! They sent me two candles and a bottle of their scented spray. The packaging is ADORABLE. The spray was gift wrapped and included some confetti which adds a nice little element of fun (if you’ve read any of my food reviews or life updates, you know I am strong believer in a fun factor for everything).

I got the Vida and Ocean Breeze scented candles.

I love the Ocean Breeze one. Have you ever had one of those candles from the grocery store with a pretty name like “tropical breeze” and then it smells terrible and nothing like how you imagined it to be? Well, this candle was the complete opposite. The candle smells like waking up in your beach house and opening the window with breeze from the ocean blowing in; it’s like an actual breath of fresh air.

The Vida candle is a hoot! This is going to sound ridiculous but bear with me- it smells like a MAN. Not like a gross, sweaty dude who hasn’t showered in a week but like a hot guy that just exited a steamy shower.

If M (the boo) was a scent, this would be it. Needless to say, it has a nice, strong scent. If you love the scent of a hot dude from a shower (lol this is what I picture from the candle’s scent), this is the candle for you! Plus, their candles are made of natural and vegetable-based soy derivatives.

The spray has a strong herbal scent. The chill oil spray is a facial and body spray. If you’re more sensitive to scents like me, I would recommend trying a different scent. If you like strong (I mean intense) herbal scents or has a friend that does, this would be a great gift idea. It is a stress and anxiety relief essential oil made up of ylang ylang, lavender, bergamot, orange, geranium and clary sage.

About Samanta

I wanted to share Samanta Moise’s story as a small business owner and someone who is passionate about giving back to the community. She is the founder of La Pixie Wellness and reached out to me try her products.

Samanta started La Pixie Wellness in 2015 with a focus on helping provide balance in today’s hectic world. Born in Ecuador, she moved to America to follow in her father’s footsteps. Through hard work, she later fulfilled her dreams of becoming a registered nurse.  Her experiences in clinical settings sparked a growing interest in forging a new path outside the confines of modern medicine and its pharmaceutical focus.  La Pixie Wellness was born from this desire in 2015 to merge medicine with more natural methods of promoting health and well-being. With this in mind, La Pixie Wellness utilizes sustainably sourced ingredients blending traditional plant-derived remedies from the Andes and the Amazon to provide peace of mind and body.

I am fortunate to have experienced a range of perspectives on health, medicine and self-care throughout my life.  My adopted home of the United States welcomed me as a citizen (one of my proudest days), supported my study of nursing, exposed me to multiple branches of modern medicine, and blessed me with an entrepreneurial spirit.  La Pixie Wellness is my way of giving back.” – Samanta Moises, Founder of La Pixie Wellness
