Clothing Haul – Express x YesStyle

November 9, 2019

Hey loves! <3

I am excited to be sharing a new post with you! This is a mix of a casual and work wear try-on clothing haul. I decided to try YesStyle and Express as I have heard a lot of good things about both brands. If you have been on the hunt for cozy clothes and versatile work wear, this is for you!✨

As fall/winter🍁❄️ weather rolls in, I have been looking for clothes that I can wear casually but also dress up for work💼 (or at least wear for multiple occasions and with different pieces).

If you want to see how everything looks and love a good try-on video, go watch my 📹 try-on IGTV video!l I shared my favorites in this post, but the video goes into a lot more detail.

Green for Growth

I have heard a lot about YesStyle before and was pleasantly surprised by everything I got from the brand. The quality of this dress is AMAZING. It fit me like a glove.😍 I HIGHLY recommend this piece if you love a good sweater dress.

FancyMe – Long-Sleeve Buttoned Mini Bodycon Knit Dress

My KDRAMA Alter Ego

The top has a faint stripe print, but it is light enough that it doesn’t clash with other bold prints like the one on this skirt. I wouldn’t typically pair these pieces together, but I love how they look! If you follow me on IG, you have probably seen this look. The skirt is super cute and comes in a khaki color too.

CaraMelody – Striped Short-Sleeve Blouse

Muezz – Slit Plaid A-Line Mini Skirt

Plaid About It

Let me just say this: SHORTS UNDERNEATH. No worries about flashing in this skirt. It is a skort and it comes in several different colors too! I paired it with the same top.

CaraMelody – Striped Short-Sleeve Blouse

CosmoCorner – Plaid Pleated Mini Skirt

Blue’s Clues

This top honestly reminds me of the character Blue from the kids show Blues Clue. It’s a light knit top that pairs well with high waisted jeans.

Alfie – Striped Long-Sleeve Top

Not so Simple

This versatile top goes with skirts, jeans, and basically any bottoms. I love that I could wear it for work (business casual) but also dress it down to go out with friends. Usually a worry I have is that tops like these can be see-through but it’s the perfect thickness and a comfy fit. Did I mention that it’s also less than $7?

Whoosh – Long-Sleeve Frill-Trim T-Shirt

Where’s Waldo?

HAHAHA. This reminds me way too much of Where’s Waldo. The sweater is fun with a nice sweater material and balloon sleeves, but I ended up returning it because it just wasn’t my style.

Olivia Culpo Striped Sweater

Valentine’s on a Sweater

No complaints with this one at all! The fit is nice, the material is light yet warm. It is a more mature style than I would usually pick but I like it!

It is out of stock, but I found a very similar one in a different color (I like this one more):

Stripe Ribbed Fitted Sweater

A cozy sweater. While it isn’t the softest, it isn’t rough or scratchy either. I love the vibrant red coloring.

Mock Neck Oversized Tunic Sweater

Keeping It Interesting

The pants are way too loose and long for me, but I like the interesting take on office slacks. I recommend this if you are on the taller end and want to spice up your work wear.

High Waisted Striped Waistband Plaid Ankle Pant

Mad Men Secretary

I would likely pair these pieces separately depending on the occasion, but they do work as a mellow, office outfit as well. Both the top and skirt are made of a ribbed knit material that is comfy and light.

Striped Button Front Cropped Sweater Top

High Waisted Ribbed Mini Skirt

The Rest of the Haul

Overall Thoughts

  • Great for cheap, trendy pieces
  • Avoid buying any clothing that don’t have reviews (I only bought ones with a lot of customer reviews because this site has many mixed reviews)
  • I recommend looking online for coupon codes to use for the site (here is a coupon code you can use)

  • Has lots of sales
  • Tends to be pricier but also higher in quality
  • more trustworthy as a brand
  • great for taller gals but they have clothing in petite sizes too

Thanks for reading and hope this was helpful for you in deciding whether you would want to try these brands yourself. Which piece was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

Show love 🧡 if you liked this post!

Until next time,
