👩‍🍳🍰Frying My First Cake – Beginner Baker Takes on a Crepe Cake

Hey lovelies!

I have caught the baking bug recently and have been feeling adventurous enough to try a new recipe.💖 Here’s a look at my first crepe cake!

I followed the Crepe Cake Recipe from Natasha’s Kitchen.

I recommend tasting the icing and adjusting the amount of condensed milk (it ended up being too sweet for me)

I added powdered sugar as decor to the top (I put too much, oops😅)
M and I were too impatient to wait for the cake to set over night before trying a slice. You can see that the cake hasn’t set at all.😂
This is the finished cake (after it has set overnight).🌟 The layers are fairly even and it was way easier to cut into!

Overall Thoughts

Although the cake is far from perfect, I’m proud of the finished dessert! This is a great and easy no-bake recipe to make (you fry the crepes in a pan and create a layered cake from this). I think there was just a bit too much condensed milk in this recipe making it too sweet for me. Next time, I’ll probably only use 2/3 of the condensed milk suggested in the recipe. 😊Baking is surprisingly fun!
