Today, I am super excited to be collaborating with LaPixie Wellness to show you how I stay relaxed and comfy. All it takes is 3 EASY steps!
As the weather gets colder and my busy schedule continues to takeover, I realized that being able to relax is really a task I have had to force myself to add for self care. As someone who is always on the go, it’s nice to be able to take a momentary pause to relax. That means thick blankets, hot tea, and aromatic candles!
1. The Plan Is to Have No Plans
Well, except with yourself and maybe a friend (optional). If you’re like me and are constantly on the go with an ever-growing list of things to do, this is your intervention. Take the chill pill and spoil yourself, recharge and relax. Sometimes, you need to take time off. With the holidays rolling in, it can get hectic and before you brace yourself for the festivities, take some time to do something that energizes you.
2. Feel Good by Eating Good (Eat Well!)
Pop in a movie and munch on your favorite snacks! I have been loving roasted seaweed lately (low calorie and tasty). Delight your taste buds with a latte or some tea with honey. I truly believe food is the way to a healthy heart and mind.
3. Set the Mood
In order to truly relax, it’s important for me to set a relaxing environment. A quick, easy, and fall favorite of mine is lighting up aromatic candles. There’s just something magical about candles. They make the room seem softer and the atmosphere gentler. I have been LOVING the candles from LaPixie Wellness.
I’m featuring the Autumn Spice, Driftwood, and Cinnamon Clove candles from LaPixie Wellness. I am happy to share that they are also the sponsor of this post!
If you have been looking for eco-friendly candles that smell great, you’re in for a treat! I am in love with these candles! They are shea butter and soy massage candles. The candles are made with eco-friendly soy wax AND they are vegan, paraben free, and cruelty free. Best of all? If you use the code givethanks19 you can get 20% off your order!
My favorite by far is the Autumn Spice. It smells like cinnamon, vanilla, and apple cider all in one. It’s the scent of fall in candle form.
Driftwood was a surprising one. If you aren’t a fan of overly sweet scents, then this is for you. It smells like a nice, fresh scent (imagine fresh linens). This is a great scent to keep at your desk or when you want to stay focused. I have this in my bedroom right now! The room actually smells like the candle even when I’m not burning it!
When I first saw the cinnamon candle, I was a bit nervous because I’m not a fan of overly spicy scents. Cinnamon Clove was pleasant surprise! It has a light cinnamon scent that is actually not at all overpowering, similar to Driftwood.
I want to also add that the packaging is perfection. The size is not too big or small, but just right; it fits conveniently on my desk and dining area without taking up too much space. The simple and classy black containers makes it a nice, decorative (yet useful) piece that compliments a variety of aesthetics too.
This is one of my favorite collaborations of all time because not only is LaPixie Wellness a local business, it was founded by a female entrepreneur and features eco-friendly products aimed towards wellness. In addition to candles, they also have body mists and natural skincare products. I highly encourage you to check out their site if you are looking to spoil yourself or a loved one!
