What’s Your Creative Personality?

May 4, 2019

I believe everyone is or has the capacity to be creative and that creativity is expressed in a variety of different ways. I recently came across a cool personality test developed by Adobe Create designed to help you figure out what type of creative you are. I love taking personality quizzes and thought this one wasn’t only fun but insightful too. I thought it was an awesome little quiz to share with you! What’s your creative personality type?

The test is said to be based on psychology research and is designed to help people understand their creative identity. I took the short quiz (15 questions) and found that it reflected my personality pretty well.

Curious about your creative personality type? Take the quiz!

Tip: The quiz has a lot of animations so if you want to skip past those, hit the button on the bottom right in the quiz.

My Creative Type: The Dreamer

Me trying to be more bold and confident

Turns out I’m the Dreamer type. The results really hit home for me. I have a lot of ideas, but I lack the conviction to focus my aspirations towards real-world change. I often struggle with not having the confidence or bravery to just go for things. I tend to have self-doubt and think “I’m not talented enough” or “I lack xyz”, etc. This year I have been trying to really work on being be bold and brave enough to take more action and go for things (blogging is one of them). While it’s fun to dream and think of things that could be, I’ve been devoting more focus to putting ideas into practice. I’m still afraid of failing but at least by trying I can continue to grow and learn. 😊

Of course, the quiz results aren’t some finite definition of my personality, but I found it was helpful for my own self-reflection. I’m curious about your creative type too. Share your results with me in the comments! Any fellow creative Dreamers out there?

Thanks for reading! I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. 😊

Until next time,

V <3
